If I use Windows Narrator to control Window-Eyes on the portable device, the program loads correctly, and, once installed, operates as expected. In fact, when I insert the device in another system and am prompted to confirm the choice of installation, I'm reminded of the ancient phrase "The check is in the mail," and Windows gives me the same option to go through the usual routine that I had when using Window-Eyes 5.0 for the final installation, just from the portable device. Of course, I check the disk as I have for every version of the software and find it as expected, which makes my day (of working on the portable device).
Here is another example. I am working on a straight-forward data entry project requiring Windows Address Book. I open the Windows 10 Address Book, and I am confronted with a screen that looks like this:
I also notice this version includes CD/DVD, Pixel and Video capture options. However, these are not as helpful to me as the image capture features I had used for Type Macros with my old version of Designer.
I had been using the Macros to set the content of each document, including lists and paragraphs, so I could type directly on my keyboard without using Text Entry mode. Eventually, I found it easier to create a Word document with a template of the structure I wanted. When I needed to add or change a list, I could just drag the changes onto the new part of the list without having to resize the list in order to create a new section.
All the ports of the network component must be connected to the TM system. No port should be left unconnected on the SUT. For the serial I/O certification, at least one port must be connected to the TM system.
In previous versions, the Authorization dialog was dynamic, and it displayed the current authorization level and authorization codes in one place. In JAWS 7.0, the exception is that if JAWS is the first program launched after Windows boots, it is authorized. Otherwise, the Authorization dialog will not display until the second time JAWS is launched after Windows boots. You can find the option to Configure JAWS from the Smart Screen ISP Option dialog. d2c66b5586
